NPDF HONORED BY NEW YORK-NEW JERSEY CRIME CLINIC

On November 10, 2017, the New Jersey-New York Detective’s Crime Clinic celebrated its 75th Anniversary Awards Luncheon at Frankie & Johnnies Pine Tavern, Bronx New York. The National Police Defense Foundation (NPDF) was the recipient of the Outstanding Organization Award, which was presented by their President U.S. Marshal Security Officer Robert Basso.

The NPDF was recognized for its success the last two decades in providing critical legal and support services to law enforcement officers nationwide and for being the proud sponsors of the Safe Cop and Operation Kids programs.

The NPDF would like to congratulate the other distinguished honorees noted below. One of the highlights of the awards presentation included recognizing Hero Yonkers Police Officer Kayla Maher with a “Valor Award” after she was shot in the face on September 25, 2017 by a teenage suspect who was apprehended by fellow officers.
