I recently appeared on CBS news regarding the proposed NJ legislation authorizing the medical use of marijuana. It is compelling legislation and we agree that no person should suffer from a life debilitating illness. However, this legislation will create an enforcement nightmare for the police. We will see a serious increase of prescription fraud that will result into a billion dollar industry similar to what we have seen with the illegal use of pain killers. There should be federal legislation introduced addressing this issue with clear cut safeguards and guidelines to prevent its misuse. watch video
