FUNDRAISING STATEMENT

The National Police Defense Foundation’s (NPDF) executive and advisory boards are composed of all volunteers and therefore lack the resources, expertise and staff to conduct professional fundraising activities. As a result, the NPDF has contracted a professional fundraising company who is financially compensated for their services. At present, the NPDF has no active nationwide residential fundraising campaign any where in the United States and is conducting one business solicitation campaign only in the State of New Jersey. The NPDF would appreciate any feedback as to the professionalism of that fundraiser and your comments can be sent to the address below, emailed to npdf1@aol.com or call our toll free number 888-SAFE COP.

Please note that all membership dues and or  tax-deductible donations made directly to the NPDF are used 100% to help fund NPDF’s operation, charitable endeavors such as Operation Kids, Safe Cop, among other law enforcement initiatives.

The National Police Defense Foundation is an approved charity with the OPM Combined Federal Campaign wherein federal employees and military personnel can make tax deductible donations via payroll deductions. The NPDF is listed under International/National organizations and please note the above CFC registration number when completing the donation designation form.

The National Police Defense Foundation is an Internal Revenue Service designated 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and is duly registered with the following State Attorney General wherein an annual registration and financial statement form are filed.

The State Troopers Coalition of the National Police Defense Foundation is not affiliated with the State Troopers Coalition which is an independent IRS designated 501 (c) (3). This notice is to avoid confusion to consumers.

PRIVACY FOR INTERNET APPEALS & INTERNET POLICY
The National Police Defense Foundation does not sell or share its membership lists to other fundraising companies or non-profit organizations. The NPDF has strict guidelines and computer technology safeguards to assure the security of all membership and donor lists, including daily backup of its records. If any donor wants their name and address removed from their PFR lists, please refer such requests to the PFR companies noted below or contact the NPDF directly at 888-SAFE COP or npdf1@aol.com.
It should be noted, the NPDF is an IRS designated 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, which is required by law to undergo an annual independent audit and review by the State Attorney General offices of which it is registered. Any donor requesting a copy of the NPDF’s audit or IRS Form 990 can make a request to the NPDF at the address noted above.
