September 11th Police Memorial
The National Police Defense Foundation fundraising effort for the September 11th Police Memorial has been conducted "inhouse" and have not used any professional fundrasing companies to assure that 100% of the donation goes to this program service. Please be adware that any professional telemarketer seeking donations for the September 11th Police Memorial is unauthorized and should be reported to the NPDF for federal trademark infringements.
PRIVACY FOR INTERNET APPEALS & INTERNET POLICY
The National Police Defense Foundation utilizes the services of three professional fundraising companies to conduct its New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Ohio campaigns. The NPDF does not sell or share its membership lists to other fundraising companies or non-profit organizations. The NPDF has strict guidelines and computer technology safeguards to assure the security of all membership and donor lists, including daily backup of its records. If any donor wants their name and address removed from their PFR lists, please refer such requests to the PFR companies noted below or contact the NPDF directly at 888-SAFE COP or firstname.lastname@example.org
BBB WISE GIVING ALLIANCE PROGRAM
The NPDF Executive Board had decided to cease its participation with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Wise Giving Alliance since much of the information relating to its operation and finances are posted on its official website.
Over the years, the NPDF has cooperated fully with the BBB Wise Giving Program and found to be in compliance with all of their standards for the exception of its use of professional fundraising companies. The NPDF utilizes professional fundraising companies since its Executive Board are composed of all volunteers and lack the resources and personnel to conduct full time professional fundraising activities.
Any donor who has been solicited by a professional fundraiser and wishes that 100% of the donation goes to the NPDF is recommended to forward that tax deductible donation to the National Police Defense Foundation, Post Office Box 318, Englishtown, New Jersey 07726 or pledge a donation by calling 888-SAFE COP.
It should be noted, the NPDF is an IRS designated 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, which is required by law to undergo an annual independent audit and review by the State Attorney General offices of which it is registered.

COMBINED FEDERAL CAMPAIGN
The National Police Defense Foundation is an approved charity with the OPM Combined Federal Campaign wherein federal employees and military personnel can make tax deductible donations via payroll deductions. The NPDF is listed under International/National organizations and please note the above CFC registration number when completing the donation designation form.
- LIBERTY MUTUAL-NATIONAL POLICE DEFENSE FOUNDATION AFFINITY INSURANCE PROGRAM
Liberty Mutual provides a two percent (2%) donation to the National Police Defense Foundation on new home and automobile insurance policies written to NPDF members and one percent (1%) for the renewal of said policies.
- HIGHPOINT INSURANCE-NATIONAL POLICE DEFENSE FOUNDATION NJ AFFINITY INSURANCE PROGRAM
Highpoint Insurance will donate $20 to the National Police Defense Foundation for every new car insurance program sold to NPDF members in the State of New Jersey.
- NPDF-TD BANK AFFINITY PROGRAM
The NPDF offers an affinity banking program with TD Bank wherein members and supporters can receive a $25 coupon towards the opening of a TD Bank Account. All members or supporters with an existing TD account can request to have their account linked to the affinity program, and TD Bank will make an annual contribution to the NPDF in the sum of .005% on checking accounts and .0025% on savings accounts.
In addition to being an Internal Revenue Service designated 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, the National Police Defense Foundation is duly registered with the following State Attorney Generals and Police Departments wherein an annual registration and financial statement form are filed.
